In order to make it easier for our employees to pursue such personal development, we are offering an extensive range of further training opportunities on various levels.

The Salzgitter Seminar is aimed at our new intake of graduates from universities and technical colleges as well as at young professionals. The seminar offers the opportunity to gather extensive information about Salzgitter, get to know new colleagues from around the Group and, as a consequence, establish first contacts beyond the boundaries of one's own part of the company.

After completing this seminar, a following series of seminars will then be open to you that aim to ease your career start with courses on, for example, how best to manage yourself or your time or on presentation techniques.

For young managers and technicians with a few years of career experience, we have specially developed a cycle of seminars in which subjects such as management, communications, project management and strategy are addressed.

Of course, besides these series of self-contained events, there is still a wide variety of further training courses available, which allow employees to acquire new qualifications that best meet the tasks they face and which are tailored to their abilities.

For trainees and young direct entrants

The Salzgitter Förderkreis, the human resources development program run by Salzgitter Flachstahl for trainees and young direct entrants, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. The perfect opportunity to take a look back and assess the program's achievements.
