Decision by the Annual Shareholders' Meeting of Salzgitter AG

Dr. Wilfried Lochte has been confirmed as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Salzgitter AG for another five years. Deputy Chairman Horst Schmitthenner and further Supervisory Board members were also reappointed by the Salzgitter Annual Shareholders' Meeting on May 28, 2003 for a further term of office.
